Over the coming months the Coast Gallery with hold exhibitions and workshops for the Escape artFEST www.escapeartfest.info which is the Southern Shoalhaven Arts Festival “10 days of artistic bliss”.Beginning on Friday the 2nd of October 2009.

The exhibitions are:

Salvage - an exhibition showcasing the work of four artists Davida Wiley, Penny Lovelock, Jan Kierzkowski and Julia Collinson. This exhibition is themed around re-cycling and up-cycling objects to create art as well as art being a pursuit that “salvages”. This exhibition opens on October 2nd 2009.

S.O.A.P Competition (Shoalhaven Open Art Prize). Open to residents of the Shoalhaven this competition has a first prize of $1000,it will encompass the Youth Art prize. This exhibition will run for 10 days during the Escape artFEST.

8 x 8 Art Prize is an open Art Prize that encourages anyone of any age and level of expertise to produce a small canvas using the artFEST theme of "Community".

Reflections in Time an exhibition of masks, words and images created by young people from the UnitingCare Burnside’s ACE Aftercare and ACE Southern programs who have experienced major disruption to their lives and loss of contact with family and friends.

Mettle Gallery Exhibition will be open to artists from the Shoalhaven area to exhibit their artworks. The Gallery is in the Coast Complex in Milton.
